In the type of game that Johnnies fans have become accustom to during the past two decades,but that have been all but non-existent this season, the Johnnies put up 495 yards of total offense while limiting the Carleton Knights to 286 yards in a 47-14 victory before a crowd of  7,071 at Clemens Stadium.

The final 1:22  of the SJU Homecoming game against Augsburg was a roller-coaster of emotions. With the Johnnies trailing for most of the  day, Connor Bruns came in at QB and directed an 8 play, 71 yard drive capped by a 17 yard scoring pass to Sam Pederson with 23 seconds remaining on the clock.
