It’s been a little bit of time since I was able to post last but last week was terrible for me. I had just so much to do and it all seemed to come down at once. I know we’ve all been there. Still this is a new week and, of course, it doesn’t need to be said that it’s Homecoming and Bethel week. Although the weather has seemed to turn cold, we have finally turned the heat up on defense. We had a good week and all seem pretty anxious to prepare for Bethel. This week is full of stresses for everyone. Not only are we playing a team that seems to have our number, we have to play it in front of the biggest crowd of the year thus far. It’s always awesome playing in the Homecoming game becuase the place just rocks and the fans are behind us 300%, but there are a lot of Alumni footballers that come back and want to see us win. Being a fifth-year senior I feel that pressure this year as my class will be back and watching our every move. We will try and use that as motivation and, like always, we will give it our very best.
I encourage all the Alumni to come out with their families and enjoy the beautiful scenary of a place we all call home. I also encourage everyone to take a look at the new Refectory if you have not seen it yet and also re-connect with old friends and memories. It’s going to be a great game and it may just come down to a few plays again this year. Everyone seems ready and we hope to celebrate at the end of the game with all the Alumni.
