Well, we are just where we want to be. We have worked all season to get to this point. Saturday is going to be alot of fun and we hope that you can join us in Whitewater for the event. Moustaches are growing and by now even those, like myself, who cannot grow facial hair are starting to show some sort of “dirt” on our upper lips. I thought I would take some time this week and share a story with you all.

Championship Week
It has been an amazing couple of weeks for all who are connected to Johnnie Football. Still we are not done. Russ Gliadon wanted the moustache slide show but pictures were not taken. Hopefully we can get that going for next week. Everyone is excited to be going into this game and practice yesterday had a nice tempo to it, even though we were inside.
Catching Up
It has been a crazy couple of weeks for me. Mid-terms are in full swing and all us Johnnies are doing our best to get over these hard couple weeks of the semester. It goes without saying that a lot has been happening.
A Band of Characters: The O-Line
The offense has been faced with many questions this season. I thought it couldn’t hurt to ask them a few more. This week I am able to showcase Greg Sowden, Ben Dimond, Dan Gamache, Erik Kottom, and Tim Juba. To the average fan, they are the “O-Line,” but as we find out, there is much [...]
The Life Of A Kicker
Hey Johnnie fans. Sorry it has taken me so long to write a new post, but school has been busy for me lately. Today we are fortunate enough to have the day off. For those of you who don’t know what I am talking about, it’s Heritage Day here on campus and that means no [...]
The Gameday Routine
A few people have come up to me recently and asked what its like behind the scenes and before the first coin flip. It really starts on Friday night when some of the guys go to Damien and Patty Dumonceaux’s for a meal and some video games. Rock Band is still the favorite [...]
Joe Luke tackles Rock n’ Roll Hall of Famer
Having just returned back from several days of fishing on Lake Winnibigoshish we have to apologize for the slow turn around today on Andy’s latest report from Johnnie football camp. As Andy indicates there hasn’t been a decision on the starting quarterback position however my bet is a replay of 2004 when AK-11 made his way onto the field as a 4th [...]
Schumacher, Gunderson and Pierskalla…. Family Guys!
Our webmaster, the vaunted “Mr. Shoes”, says he’ll be knee-deep in “code” next week and the days leading up to East Texas in an effort to complete all the site upgrades planned during the off-season. Until then we’ll continue to publish Andy Pierskalla’s player blog “post-style”…enjoy!

Johnnie Senior Andy Pierskalla says: “Simon Says!”
In our attempt to bring you right into the huddle during Johnnie Football Camp we’ve enlisted the talents of Johnnie senior defensive lineman Andy Pierskalla. This fall will be the third season of action for Andy as extensive shoulder surgery in May of ‘07 forced the Farmington graduate to the sideline for a season of [...]
