Shock and Harry Awe
All right, most of you have probably already uttered these headline words first carved from a presidential era seemingly decades ago and who mimic the smashing and slashing style of sophomore running back Harry Awe.
Merely uttering the phrase “Shock and Awe” brings smiles to faces and a sense of overwhelming power just as Harry’s Collegeville [...]
Johnnies Outlast Blugolds 35-27
The Johnnies change of pace running attack paid dividends on Saturday as 7 different players had rushing attempts and St. John’s defeated the University of Wisconsin Eau Claire 35-27 at Clemens Stadium. All of St. John’s TD’s were scored on the ground, which is an occurrence that I didn’t research thoroughly, but by casually polling some longtime Johnnie faithful, “it’s been [...]
From Manchester to the M.I.A.C.
Just how far does the scent of Wingman’s ever so delectable wings carry? The Johnnies should be used to facing off against WIAC opponents—dating back to last season’s playoffs, this will be St. John’s [...]

There are players, especially on defense like preseason All-American Nick Gunderson, who will tell you that we didn’t witness real Johnnie football and “wait until this week” when we play our first home game against another, higher-rated WIAC opponent — UW-Eau Claire.

The Tweet Season
Greetings Johnnie football fans. It has been a while, but seems like just last year since I posted on these now legendary pages. I am halfway through my 8 year string of having a child at SJU, with one graduating in May and one starting up this fall. Just dropped him, his worldly possessions (ipod, [...]
