Hogs, big men, earth movers, wide bodies, grunts, space eaters. These are the common monikers sports fans hang on those fine men who have chosen the path of little to no fame in the game of Football, that path being an Offensive Lineman.

The mass appeal of sporting events is, I suppose, that it offers the spectator the opportunity to vicariously experience success and failure throughout the course of the event itself and, ultimately in the end, with a win or a loss. In football, every yard, every first down, every point obtained is celebrated. In baseball, each hit, great pitch, strikeout or defensive play is relished by the fan. Conversely, the missed tackle, blown coverage, homer ball, or error is often the cause of spectator hand-wringing and teeth-gnashing.
Looking for a convenient locale to soothe your vocal chords following perhaps the most interesting week in Minnesota sports history and before the Johnnie vs Piper game on the HU campus? With all the gaming, pregaming, speculation and cheering the past few days no other sporting fan experienced as much jubilation as Johnnie Football fans.
