Johnnie Fans, I know it has been awhile since we have last seen each other but the wait will be worth it for sure.  We have had two weeks to prepare for the Auggies and one might ask: Does it get boring when you don’t play anyone on your bye week?  The answer is of [...]

2009 stthomas game

Fans, it has come to be time for the game that everyone is waiting for.  Although the weather may not be warm, people seem to be keeping warm by the thoughts of this weekend and what is about to take place.  Everyone I have talked to, who isn’t involved directly with the football team has [...]

2009 hamline game

Coming off a specatcular win last week, we look to continue our success.  This week’s opponent may not be undefeated or given us trouble in the past, but I can assure you that these Pipers will try and give us a run for our money.  I know one particular Piper that will be going extra [...]

2009 bethel game

It’s been a little bit of time since I was able to post last but last week was terrible for me. I had just so much to do and it all seemed to come down at once. I know we’ve all been there. Still this is a new week and, of course, it doesn’t need to be said that it’s Homecoming and Bethel week.

Down Time

We have one game down and many to go.  For those of you that were at the River Falls game…thank you for coming and gutting our poor defensive effort.  On behalf of the defense, I would like to pledge a much better effort this Saturday against Eau Claire.  Again, it has taken me too long [...]

Hey Folks!  Sorry it has taken me the entire camp to get a post out but of course, the internet does not work in our apartment and now that school has started, I can use the computers there for the time being.
I can’t believe its already time for another season of football.  To make matters [...]

2008 uww game

Well, we are just where we want to be. We have worked all season to get to this point. Saturday is going to be alot of fun and we hope that you can join us in Whitewater for the event. Moustaches are growing and by now even those, like myself, who cannot grow facial hair are starting to show some sort of “dirt” on our upper lips. I thought I would take some time this week and share a story with you all.

2008 carleton game

It has been an amazing couple of weeks for all who are connected to Johnnie Football. Still we are not done. Russ Gliadon wanted the moustache slide show but pictures were not taken. Hopefully we can get that going for next week. Everyone is excited to be going into this game and practice yesterday had a nice tempo to it, even though we were inside.

Catching Up

It has been a crazy couple of weeks for me. Mid-terms are in full swing and all us Johnnies are doing our best to get over these hard couple weeks of the semester. It goes without saying that a lot has been happening.

A Band of Characters: The O-Line

The offense has been faced with many questions this season. I thought it couldn’t hurt to ask them a few more. This week I am able to showcase Greg Sowden, Ben Dimond, Dan Gamache, Erik Kottom, and Tim Juba. To the average fan, they are the “O-Line,” but as we find out, there is much [...]
