What the heck would Johnny “Blood” McNally have to say about the changes that SJU football has gone through since 1953? The changes are many with the likes of Sprin Turf artificial playing surface, face masks on the helmets and don’t forget the Cash Wise cart races at halftime.
The era that JohnnieFootball.com is entering may […]

Well, I figured that I should test this out to make sure I can add my two cents to JohnnieFootball.com.  If you’re reading this, I’ve mastered it.

One man’s rankings of the MIAC’s football stadiums.

St. John’s: There is not a better place on earth than The Natural Bowl on a crisp fall Saturday afternoon. The leaves, the rabid atmosphere, the 8K+ fans
St. Thomas: O’Shaughnessy Stadium is a classic, time-tested, gorgeous venue smack dab in the middle of a picturesque neighborhood. […]

Starting ‘07 with a team from Ohio, hoping for another at the season’s ending;
in between will be the Cobbers, Oles, Tommies and Royals, among others, all pretending.
From 2000, six post season appearances, pre-season rankings suggest #7 in ‘07.
To make the post season reality and no suggestion, it is up to the Johnnie eleven.
Defense and offense, […]
